Ingredients. 2 1/2 sticks unsalted butter, at room temperature. 2 cups sugar. 2 large eggs. 1 tablespoon vanilla extract. 3/4 cup Dutch process cocoa powder. 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon baking soda. 1/2 teaspoon salt.
